Celebrating 75 years of Europe:

Dialogue and Innovation at the OECD-EU Delegation

The Paris Office of the Andalus Committee had the honor of taking part in the 2025 Europe Day celebration, organized by the Delegation of the European Union to the OECD, in partnership with the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights.

This year’s edition marked the 75th anniversary of the Schuman Declaration and centered on a theme that speaks to our most pressing global challenges: “Toward Responsible AI Innovation: Harnessing the Euro-African Partnership.

Following the panel, we had the pleasure of exchanging with H.E. Christina Kokkinakis, EU Ambassador to the OECD, H.E. Peter Van De Velde, Belgian Ambassador to the OECD, and Mr. Axel de la Maisonneuve, Minister-Counsellor at the EU Mission to the OECD.

These conversations provided an opportunity to present the work and vision of the Andalus Committee—particularly our commitment to a renewed and equitable dialogue between Europe and the Global South, driven by youth, innovation, and inclusive multilateralism.

A warm thank you to the EU Delegation for this valuable moment of shared reflection and intergenerational dialogue.
