Andalus at La Fabrique de la Diplomatie 2026
On 4 and 5 September 2026, the Andalus Committee took part in the second edition of La Fabrique de la Diplomatie, organised by the Diplomatic and Consular Academy of the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs at Sorbonne Nouvelle University. Year on year, the event keeps growing, in audience and in partners alike. As partners of the Academy since its founding, we are proud to have once again contributed to what has become the ministry’s largest public event.
This year marked a milestone for us: in partnership with the ministry’s G7 team, we organised a G7 simulation. Our thanks go to Joshua Fialip and Thomas Gasselin, who joined us on site for both days.
We also want to highlight the exhibition on the United Nations and its role, prepared beforehand by the Quai d’Orsay and United Nations Western Europe, with Fabienne Pompey and Frédéric Jung. At a time when multilateralism is being tested, recalling what the UN actually delivers is far from a side note.
Thank you to Didier Le Bret for his work leading the Diplomatic and Consular Academy and for his steady support for youth-led initiatives, and warm congratulations on his appointment as France’s Ambassador to Vietnam. Thanks as well to Mariam Dembélé, the event’s secretary general, and a special thank you to Fatma Acar, whose availability and support carried us through from the first day to the last.
Thank you all for your trust. See you in 2027.
