This policy report, released by the Andalus Committee — King’s College London Branch — offers an up-to-date assessment of India’s evolving partnership with Kazakhstan against the backdrop of broader shifts in the Global South. It traces the strengthening diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between the two countries and examines how shared priorities in sustainable development — from clean energy transitions to expanding trade corridors — can anchor a forward-looking strategic framework aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. As both states navigate climate pressures and economic diversification, the report recommends more structured bilateral mechanisms, including progress toward an FTA with the EAEU, enhancement of the International North–South Transport Corridor, a joint Renewable Energy Task Force, and expanded educational initiatives to equip future green leaders.
